Oral-B Essentialfloss is a 50 m unwaxed dental floss for everyday cleaning between the teeth, where a toothbrush cannot reach. It is supplied in a compact round dispenser with a built-in cutter, so you can take a fresh length for each use. The filament is shred-resistant and has a polymer coating that helps it slide into tight contacts and lift plaque and food debris from the sides of the teeth and just under the gumline. Because this pack is unwaxed and unflavoured, there is no mint coating and no wax layer to add bulk.

Use it as the interdental step after brushing, once a day or as advised by your dentist. Wind a working length around your fingers, ease the floss between the teeth without snapping it down onto the gums, then curve it against each tooth and move it up and down. Advance to a clean section of floss for the next space. Keep the dispenser closed when not in use and out of reach of young children. Gums may bleed a little when you first start flossing; if bleeding continues, see your dentist. Follow the directions on the pack.

How to Use

1. Wind about 45 cm of floss around your middle fingers, leaving a short working section between them.
   
2. Gently guide the floss between two teeth. Do not snap it down into the gums.
   
3. Curve the floss around the tooth in a C-shape and move it up and down, including just below the gumline.
   
4. Use a clean section of floss for each contact, then repeat around the mouth.
   
5. Discard the used length. Close the dispenser after use. Adult supervision is recommended for children.
