Listerine Cool Mint Mild Taste is a 500 ml alcohol-free mouthwash with a milder mint flavour than classic Listerine rinses. It is the zero-alcohol Cool Mint formula: the same essential-oil clean, without the burn of alcohol. On UK packs it is labelled Cool Mint Mild Taste; it was previously sold as Listerine Zero.
Used twice a day after brushing, Listerine states that this rinse kills germs that cause plaque and bad breath, helps reduce plaque, supports healthy gums and gives lasting fresh-breath confidence. The formula also contains sodium fluoride (220 ppm F) to help protect enamel against cavities, including in places a toothbrush does not reach easily.
The liquid is a clear mint-blue colour in Listerine’s familiar contoured 500 ml bottle. It is intended as a daily rinse for adults and for children from 6 years (with a smaller dose), not as a drink and not as a substitute for brushing and flossing.
Pour 20 ml into a glass, rinse around the teeth and gums for 30 seconds, then spit out. Do not dilute and do not swallow. For children aged 6 to 12 years use 10 ml; it is not suitable under 6 years.
